Description
This individual is responsible for handling all essential duties and responsibilities of inside sales and customer service. This is a full-time position, M-F, 8:00am – 5:00 pm.
 
· Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships;
· Responding to all customer inquiries and requests received via incoming phone calls, faxes, e-mails, Company website and EDI per customer’s time constraint;
· Providing technical assistance to customers (i.e., Part number identification & clarification, model code creation, customer print/drawing reading, BOM assembly creation, etc.);
· Order entry (Manual, website, EDI, AutoOrder);
· Quotation entry;
· RMA entry;
· Credit Memo creation;
· Issuing and completing vendor returned goods authorizations when applicable;
· Purchasing including entering purchase orders on vendor’s computer systems (TOPS, P21, Extranet);
· Assisting outside sales personnel with customer requests and quotations;
· Supporting other departments within Triad (internal customers);
· Expediting customer orders on a daily basis;
· Acting as liaison between customers and vendors;
· Handling customer objectives and resolving customer problems;
· Taking ownership of customer orders/requests/problems from beginning to end;
· Helping in building and maintaining vendor relationships;
· Ongoing training on products and services provided by Triad Technologies;
· Customer visits as required;
· Participation in efforts to streamline and make departmental processes better;
· Maintain professional, pleasant demeanor when working with internal and external customers.
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
· High School diploma (or equivalent)
· Three or more years of related work experience
· Must have excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
· Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, effectively and professionally with customers, vendors and other Triad employees;
· Reads and follow written work instructions.
· Possess strong mathematical skills- add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
· Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
· Excellent attention to detail
· Possess accurate keyboarding skills (for data entry). To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge. Knowledge of Prophet21 software and other vendor computer systems are preferred.
· Individuals must score 70% or higher on the Mechanical Aptitude test.
