Position Summary:
Bakers are essential to the success of our Central Kitchen and Co-op. The position prepares baked goods from scratch for our three store locations and ensures that the kitchen is clean, stocked, and that our products and practices meet and exceed all safety and quality requirements.
Specific areas of accountability include baked goods production, packaging, internal customer service, safety, and sanitation.
We're Looking for Someone With...
- High-volume baking, catering, and pastry production/finishing
- Demonstrated understanding of food production and fundamental baking techniques
- Basic math skills
- Ability to provide excellent internal customer service
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers and staff
- Ability to show up each day ready to contribute to your team, store, and community
- Demonstrates strong initiative and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrates a positive, adaptable, and flexible attitude with a strong commitment to being a team player

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience scratch baking with natural foods
- Multilingual
Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106
Schedule: 7am-11am or 7am-3pm shift. Current shifts available may vary and can include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours to meet department needs. Flexibility required to meet business needs.

Physical and Working Requirements:
