Job Overview:

This position is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.

General Responsibilities:

  • Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine.
  • Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
  • Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
  • Complies with all BETA OFFSHORE HACCP policies and procedures.
  • Cleans offices/residents’ rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
  • Cleans light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings.
  • Empties trash and garbage containers.
  • Replenishes supplies.
  • Change sheets and replenish linens.
  • Moves furniture and sets-up tables and chairs.
  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

This position is located on a fixed oil platform off the coast of Southern California. Shifts are 12 hours working a 14 day on/14 day off schedule.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
