As an IT Support Technician Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and networks within the organization. Key Responsibilities
· Install and configure computer hardware, software, and networks.
· Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
· Maintain and update technical documentation and manuals.
· Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure proper functioning.
· Set up new user accounts and profiles.
· Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on systems and networks.
· Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the industry.
Education
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Relevant coursework in areas such as computer networks, operating systems, computer hardware, software applications, and IT support.
· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals (optional but beneficial).
Qualifications
· Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to individuals with varying degrees of technical knowledge. Excellent listening skills to understand the root cause of any problem.
· Patience: Capable of dealing with frustrated or non-technical colleagues or clients with empathy and understanding.
· Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
· Adaptability: Comfortable learning new technologies and adjusting to different working environments.
· Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders, such as software developers, network engineers, and business analysts, to achieve common goals.

This position is 100% on-site with some required weekend work on an on-call basis
