We are seeking Early Childhood VPK Educators for our Palm Beach Gardens location.

Our Early Childhood Educators are compassionate and strive to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning. Palm Beach Christian Academy (PBCA) is the school ministry of Family Church. This full-time position reports to the Campus Director.

Job Responsibilities

  • Structure a developmentally appropriate educational experience in the classroom using methods such as storytelling, games, and activities.
  • Teach students to follow rules and procedures in the classroom and school.
  • Monitor students’ progress throughout the year and evaluate preparedness for the next education level.
  • Communicate all progress and concerns with tact and professionalism to parents and the director.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents.
  • Enforce safety and security standards for children, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain required paperwork for individual student files, attendance, incident reports, and other necessary records.
  • Successful completion of in-service Childcare Training Credential hours will be required by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) trainings.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must pass drug test and Department of Children and Families (DCF) Clearinghouse background check.
  • Early Childhood Educator Staff Credential with Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Instructor Endorsement.
