We are looking for an upbeat, team player who enjoys working with children, helping them grow during their early development stages.

**Job Duties of Daycare Van Driver**:
Van drivers are responsible for transporting the children to and from public school, in a safe manner. They often communicate with parents regarding the needs of the children in their care. Drivers need to be able to keep good records and documentation, must have CPR and First Aid certification, a valid driver’s license, an excellent driving record and a clean criminal background check. Drivers are an integral part of a daycare center team and must attend staff meetings or meet one-on-one with the director of the facility.

**Job Duties of VPK Teacher**:
REQUIRED Experience and Training:

- MUST have CDA and VPK teaching experience.
- Minimum 1 year in an early childhood education environment
- MUST meet the DCF 45 hour state mandated training requirement and have a current record of continuing education training hours.

Essential Job Functions:

- Must be creative, have problem solving skills, be able to multi task, and be a true team player.
- Willing to assist in preparing instructional materials and support daily lessons.
- Understand the characteristics of 3 and 4 year olds
- Able to assist in effectively managing the classroom and model positive behavior conducive to a healthy learning environment.
- Must be willing to participate in extracurricular activities that support our school.

REQUIRED Qualifications:

- Present a positive image of the school to the community
- Possess solid communication skills, effectively collaborate with others and finish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to school/student matters
- Experienced with using classroom technology (Tablets, smart boards, Parent Portal Software program).

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

License/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
