Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur popular restaurant is looking for a forward-thinking and talented executive chef to give our guests a great dining experience. We require an effective supervisor who can produce innovative menus and recipes, oversee all food leaving the kitchen, and guarantee health and safety regulations are met. Our ideal candidate is an inventive culinary leader who can recruit and develop great personnel to provide guests with a top-notch dining experience. $22 - $28 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees
  • Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen
  • Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit
  • Create new and unique menu items and specials using various ingredients in an innovative way
  • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price
Qualifications:
  • Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
  • At least 7-8 years of culinary experience
  • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team
