Responsibilities:- Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees
- Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen
- Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit
- Create new and unique menu items and specials using various ingredients in an innovative way
- Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price
- Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members
- Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
- At least 7-8 years of culinary experience
- This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team
