Your Opportunity

Delta Medical Systems is looking for an energetic problem-solver to join our team. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our fast-paced Customer Support Center based in Brookfield, Wisconsin. You will respond to urgent calls and requests from customers and field engineers. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating purchase orders, logging service events, shipping and receiving parts, and assisting with service administration.

 

The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. A hybrid remote schedule is available once the initial training period is completed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound customer requests, document and dispatch calls in a professional manner.
  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate between customers and field engineers.
  • Draft parts and labor quotes, and provide proper documentation.
  • Assist with purchasing, shipping, and receiving equipment and parts.
  • Proofread documents and service reports for customer records and proper file retention.
  • Process service contracts and service-related invoices.
  • Provide quality service and support to a variety of areas including purchasing, invoicing, document management, quoting, and inventory.
  • Interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders via written and verbal communication.
  • Continually meet or exceed minimum pre-established metrics for customer service quality.
  • Hold self and team members accountable for following guidelines, rules and quality policies in a positive, continual improvement manner.

  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of field service support or customer service experience
  • Able to work independently and be a positive member of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload according to demands
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
  • Comfortable with communicating with a variety of people over the phone
  • Adaptable to change
