Social Media Specialist

We are seeking a creative and driven Administrative/Social Media Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and helping to grow our brand online. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, has a keen eye for design, and possesses strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn).
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging and visually appealing content (text, images, videos, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and audience engagement; respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyze social media metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to management.
• Work with officers of the corporation to establish social media posts/campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Assist in developing and managing social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
• Serve as an alternate for the company's receptionist.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices (Presently we utilize Hootsuite)
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
