Job Description:

The Inspections Technician will be responsible for onsite monitoring and inspection of construction projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with all contract documents, maintaining high-quality standards, and effectively communicating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and the general public.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, with a focus on pipe interior conditions.
  • Monitor and document construction activities to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed daily observation reports, including photographic evidence.
  • Interact professionally with clients, homeowners, and the general public to address any questions or concerns.
  • Review CCTV footage of pipe interiors to assess conditions and verify compliance.
  • Attend and contribute to regular project meetings to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain project equipment and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in field inspection or related roles in construction or engineering.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and construction standards (ASTM, MAG, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for managing digital files and reporting.

Additional Details:

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license within 3 months of start date.
  • Ability to obtain NASSCO PACP and LACP certifications.
  • Previous experience in utility installation, construction monitoring, or trenchless pipe rehabilitation is advantageous.
