Ausco Products is looking for an individual with proven experience working in a shipping environment that has the ability to support the Warehouse team in efforts to meet and exceed the kitted part requirements. This individual will also assist with obtaining safety, quality, and production goals in accordance with overall plant goals.

Requirements:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Safety: Reports any accidents or near misses through Incident Reporting sheet.

o Knowledge of Forklift rules, lifting requirements, and company rules.

o Properly operates material handling equipment including forklifts, dollies, and pallet jacks.

· Kitting Support: Help meet company objectives for kitting requirements.

o Uses schedule to determine Kit priority and pick parts as needed.

o Uses Job Manager to determine customer requirements and quantity to pack.

o Verifies all components meet quality requirements rust/protection/knicks/rips etc.

o Responsible for all materials being shipped via small parcel (UPS, FedEx, etc.)

o Monitors and maintains all kitting records on share drive and/or in ERP.

o Process all kitting jobs, label appropriately, and put away.

o Assists in facilitating continuous improvement activities within the respective areas.

o Maintains organization within kitting area including Kanban area and magnets.

· Standard Work: Producing Kits to meet customer requirements.

o Provide timely feedback to functional area managers to meet material requirements.

o Schedule time with Warehouse Manager each day to review schedule.

· Other Support duties: As needed, cross-train and complete duties of anyone in the Warehouse team.

o Stock all assembly lines and respond to the material requests from the shop.

o Pull daily shippers for small parts, create shipping labels, and deliver to shipping department.

o Build Kits, pull packs, print picklists, shortage sheets, and pack palletized parts for shipment.

o Maintain consolidation of parts in warehouse and on production line.

o Put away incoming material from return baskets, receiving dock, maintain parts in production.

o Assist with kitting instructions and update system with correct information.

· Administrative: Maintains ERP records as required.

o Ability to use RF scanner along with data entry in tablets.

o Produce kitting labels as needed.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes.

o Work with other Support Staff.

o Keep up to date with system changes and training requirements related to job duties.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:

· Must comply with all safety rules and regulation around fast-moving equipment.

· Ability to Work effectively in teams and participate in necessary meetings.

· Must successfully complete any training necessary to perform tasks.

· Willingness and ability to function within, maintain, and respect an environment of confidentiality.

· Must comply with established work rules and applicable Ausco Products, INC policies.

· Ability to work overtime, including the weekend.

· Good math, reading, writing, record keeping, calculator, and computer skills are necessary.

· Must have strong oral and written communication skills and ability to use them with internal and external sources, be flexible with the ability to multitask.

· Ability to properly follow written and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision.

· Ability to work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues.

· Accurately prepare paperwork, inspection records, and relays requests as required.

· Ensures the flow between teams, communicating relevant information about activities and potential issues to meet specific goals of each area.

· Maintains professional conduct, treating others with respect.

· Maintains good housekeeping and organization of all areas.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time with occasional position changes.

· Work requires remaining stationary, typing, working with a monitor, writing, lifting, stooping, moving about the office, and positioning self to reach or file.

· Work in manufacturing areas nearing moving mechanical parts and exposed to airborne particles.

· Must be able to climb on/off a forklift throughout the day.

· Ability to lift 45 pounds.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS OF JOB:

· Previous experience in a Manufacturing and Warehouse environment.

· Valid lift truck license, or willingness to obtain.

· Understanding of Kanban systems.

· Experience working within quality systems.
