Job Summary: As a Primary Clinician at Oasis Recovery, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of roughly 6-8 clients at a time. This includes weekly one on one sessions, bio/psycho/social assessments, and treatment planning, maintaining contact with client’s family members, and leading group facilitation. Oasis Recovery is a client and family centered organization. We are passionate about helping others achieve freedom from drugs and alcohol and we are hoping you are too


Core Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Completing initial intake
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, utilizing various modalities.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, both in the clinical setting as well as outdoor therapy (hiking)
  • Engage in family therapy sessions to address family dynamics, educate on addiction, promote healthy communication, and support the recovery process.
  • Collaborate with the clinical, medical and operational team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document client progress, treatment interventions, and any significant observations in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Assess and manage crises or emergencies that may arise, applying appropriate intervention strategies to ensure client safety.
  • Participate in treatment planning meetings: Actively contribute to treatment team meetings, providing clinical insights, progress updates, and recommendations for the ongoing care of clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and training to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure and certifications.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • Ability to flex a day during the week if working on Sunday for group facilitation.
Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  1. Education – Masters level preferred or (related experience in substance abuse field.)
  2. Experience - Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience is preferred.
  3. Certifications - LPC/MHSP, LADC, LMFT, CADC, LADAC
  4. Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience.
  5. Understanding of the range of treatment and interventions needed for chemically dependent individuals.
