Metro Community Development is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments and to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. Responsibilities

Post financial transaction records and bring the books to the trial balance stage

Assist with creating budgets, financial forecasts, and quarterly reports

Coordinate bank deposits and balance bank account ledgers

Pay vendor invoices

Assist in developing monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets

Oversee Accounts Receivable collections

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or related field preferred

Five years experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll reports

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience also preferred in CS Accounting software

Detail oriented self-starter with an ability to work under fast pasted situations when necessary

Work Hours and Compensation:

Job Type: Part-time, flexible hours Monday - Friday
