Job Summary:

The Inventory POU personnel is primarily responsible for the day-to-day delivery of POU parts to/from the Riverdale facility. Loading the van safely and delivery the parts in an efficient manner. Organizing the POU parts in each row while stocking the aisles with new component parts. Loading the van with finished goods and returning them to the shipping department in Butler.


Essential Functions:

  • Drop and pick up component parts from/to the Riverdale Facility as needed.
  • Schedule to be determined by Inventory Supervisor and Riverdale Assm. Manager.
  • Ensure parts are handled with care and cleanliness is maintained during all transfers.
  • Stock EyeAm POU shelves with components in appropriate order.
  • Organize EyeAm POU shelves to enforce first in first out method.
  • Conducts POU Physical Counts to maintain accurate inventory counts
  • Operate company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Practice defensive driving while operating company vehicle.
  • Keep the vehicle clean.
  • Fuel the vehicle.
  • Ensure the periodic schedule vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
  • Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary.
  • Any other assignments as required by the Inventory Supervisor.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record


Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Mathematical Skills:

  • Basic Math Skills (measuring, use of calculator)


Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to carryout detailed, but uninvolved written and verbal instructions. Ability to use the weight scales


Physical Demands:

  • Must frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
  • Employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Employee is occasionally required to sit
  • Specific vision abilities require close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


Work Environment:

  • Noise level is usually moderate for a manufacturing plant
