Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window and Door Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional installation, repair, and maintenance of windows and doors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and cut materials to fit specific openings.
  • Install windows and doors, ensuring they are level, plumb, and secure.
  • Remove old windows and doors and prepare openings for new installations.
  • Apply weatherproofing, insulation, and sealants to ensure installations are energy-efficient and weather-tight.
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing window and door installations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a window and door installer or similar role.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and construction principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification or training in construction or a related field.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Experience with a variety of window and door types and materials.
