Descripción del Puesto:

Como Supervisor de Alimentos y Bebidas, desempeñarás un papel fundamental en garantizar experiencias excepcionales para los huéspedes y mantener altos estándares de servicio dentro del departamento de alimentos y bebidas. Además de las responsabilidades existentes descritas en la descripción del trabajo, tu rol abarcará las siguientes funciones:

Funciones Adicionales:

  1. Mejora de la Satisfacción del Cliente: Involúcrate proactivamente con los huéspedes para solicitar retroalimentación, abordar inquietudes y garantizar que sus necesidades sean atendidas de manera rápida y profesional, fomentando una experiencia gastronómica acogedora y agradable.
  2. Control de Calidad: Realiza inspecciones regulares de los puntos de venta de alimentos y bebidas, incluyendo áreas de comedor, bares y estaciones de servicio, para garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de higiene, saneamiento y presentación, tomando acciones correctivas según sea necesario para mantener la calidad.
  3. Entrenamiento y Desarrollo: Proporciona entrenamiento continuo, coaching y mentoría a los miembros del equipo de alimentos y bebidas, centrándote en técnicas de servicio, conocimiento del producto y habilidades de interacción con los huéspedes, para fomentar una cultura de mejora continua y excelencia.
  4. Gestión de Inventario: Supervisa los niveles de inventario de alimentos, bebidas y suministros, monitoreando el uso, realizando inventarios regulares y coordinando pedidos con proveedores para mantener niveles de stock adecuados y minimizar desperdicios.
  5. Desarrollo de Menús: Colabora con el equipo culinario y la gerencia para desarrollar menús innovadores y atractivos, incorporando ingredientes de temporada, preferencias dietéticas y tendencias del mercado, para mejorar la experiencia gastronómica y aumentar los ingresos.
  6. Coordinación de Eventos: Ayuda en la planificación y ejecución de eventos especiales, funciones privadas y servicios de catering, coordinando con planificadores de eventos, proveedores y departamentos internos para garantizar una ejecución impecable y la satisfacción del cliente.
  7. Eficiencia Operativa: Simplifica los procedimientos operativos y flujos de trabajo dentro del departamento de alimentos y bebidas, identificando oportunidades para ganancias de eficiencia, ahorros de costos y optimización de ingresos, mientras se mantienen altos estándares de servicio.
  8. Cumplimiento de Salud y Seguridad: Garantiza el cumplimiento de las regulaciones de salud y seguridad, normas de seguridad alimentaria y pautas de servicio de alcohol, realizando auditorías e inspecciones regulares para mitigar riesgos y mantener un ambiente seguro para huéspedes y personal.
  9. Evaluación de Desempeño: Realiza evaluaciones de desempeño regulares para los miembros del equipo de alimentos y bebidas, brindando retroalimentación constructiva, reconocimiento y oportunidades de crecimiento y desarrollo, para apoyar su avance profesional y satisfacción laboral.
  10. Participación Comunitaria: Participa con la comunidad local y establece alianzas con proveedores locales, organizaciones y empresas para apoyar prácticas sostenibles, promover productos locales y mejorar la reputación del hotel como un negocio socialmente responsable.

Calificaciones y Educación:

Además de los requisitos de calificación y educación establecidos en la descripción del trabajo original, los candidatos para este rol idealmente deberían poseer:

  • Experiencia demostrada en liderazgo en un entorno de restaurante, hospitalidad o vida nocturna de ritmo rápido, con un historial de logro y mantenimiento de estándares de servicio elevados y satisfacción del cliente.
  • Conocimientos avanzados de cócteles, vinos y licores, con certificaciones o entrenamiento relevantes preferidos, para garantizar recomendaciones y orientación informadas a huéspedes y miembros del equipo.
  • Fuertes habilidades interpersonales y de comunicación, con la capacidad de establecer relaciones, inspirar trabajo en equipo y resolver conflictos de manera efectiva en un entorno de trabajo diverso y dinámico.
  • Capacidad probada para realizar múltiples tareas, priorizar tareas y tomar decisiones acertadas bajo presión, manteniendo atención al detalle y precisión en todos los aspectos del desempeño laboral.
  • Familiaridad con aplicaciones de software estándar de la industria, como sistemas POS, software de gestión de inventario y herramientas de programación, para facilitar operaciones eficientes y generación de informes.
  • Compromiso con el desarrollo profesional continuo y la actualización de tendencias de la industria, mejores prácticas y tecnologías emergentes para impulsar la innovación y la excelencia en los servicios de alimentos y bebidas.
