We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated team. As a Maintenance Engineer at Kelly Inn Billings, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and fully operational. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to work independently will contribute to creating a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's premises, identifying potential safety hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Coordinate with external contractors when additional expertise is required for complex repairs or installations.
  • Ensure the functionality and safety of the hotel's fire alarm and suppression systems.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and report any major issues to the management.
  • Oversee the inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, techniques, and tools.
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
