  SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

The Opportunity: PLA Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and field trips. 

The Details: 

Key Deliverables: 

  • Assistance with transporting students from designated pickup points and drop-off at school
  • Transport students from school and to their designated drop-off point
  • Follow assigned bus routes
  • Field trips are required
  • Moderate familiarity with the metro Detroit area
  • Provide a safe transportation environment for all students

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred or GED 
  • CDL license and yellow card, required
  • No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
  • Clean driving record (no traffic citations in the last 5 years)
  • Ability to carry out assigned routes on time
  • Excellent communication skills

Offering a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as Girls/Boys Basketball, Soccer, Dance, Martial Arts, Drama Club, Cheerleading, Garden Club, and Tutoring. These activities make our school unique by providing opportunities for students to develop their skills, explore new interests, and build social connections.
