NOW HIRING an assistant property manager:

The Assistant Property Manager will undertake all leasing activities on behalf of the property owners, and under the direction of the Property Manager. The role will effectively explore the market to identify prospective residents and work to ensure the satisfaction of existing residents in order to maintain occupancy goals. The Assistant Property Manager will also meet established rent collection goals and financial objectives.

What will I do?
  • Show all available apartments/homes, greet, and qualify prospects, follow up on all prospective residents, and market the community to prospects via telephone, email, text, internet, and social media/networking programs.
  • Process all required administrative forms, leases, prospect applications, and related information.
  • Explain lease documents to new and existing residents and provide thoughtful answers to questions that may arise.
  • Provide quality customer service to residents before, during, and after they lease an apartment/home.
  • Maintain on-going resident retention programs, including participation in resident events and activities.
  • Conduct general housekeeping of the office, amenity areas, model apartments/homes, and community.

Position requirements:
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of two years of previous experience in a multi-family Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager role is required.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP), or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) license is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is
