Job Description:


Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Design, the Brand Identity Designer will be responsible for visualizing complex logo architecture systems that adapt to consumer needs, stakeholder expectations, enterprise parameters, and various precedents that have been set. Systematically working within a framework, this person will help shape the visual identity for various internal and external-facing sub-brands. In addition, this role will mockup signage, swag, and environmental visuals as needed. This position requires a candidate with a strategic, systematic mindset, strong technical expertise, and mindful attention to detail to handle projects from concept to refined and finalized file delivery. The Brand Identity Designer will be immersed with prioritized brand projects, while reporting directly to the creative team yet serving in an embedded capacity with the brand team. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a matrixed organization and be a strong communicator to keep everyone connected in this partnership role. This position requires a candidate who can analyze business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test, and implement solutions with little supervision in a fast-paced, on-demand environment. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and must be committed to delivering high-quality solutions within agreed-upon timelines.


Responsibilities:


- Maintain graphic design and brand standards while subsequently ensuring that the work adheres to a high level of excellence.

- Utilize design resources and follow guidelines across the organization.

- Collaborate on architecture and visual identity systems with manager, clients, and stakeholders.

- Create visuals for executive-level presentations that communicate a variety of viable options that are well thought out and strategic.

- Synthesize complex data into consumable and easy to digest visuals.

- Review environmental designs, including signage for adherence to brand guidelines.

- Understand the strategies and priorities of multiple areas of the business and use that understanding to explain how their design solutions can enhance the clients business objectives.

- Assess and evaluate existing systems to implement and recommend improvements.

- Be able to gather reference and notes quickly, to spec, and keep them organized.

- Assist vendors, development teams or other business teams when appropriate.

- Stay current with design industry trends and be knowledgeable with basic design principles.

- Follow guidelines for file organization and naming conventions.

- Able to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities and meet deadlines.

- Able to work independently to problem solve while also working with a team for collaboration.



Requirements:

- College graduate, or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years of design and brand identity experience.

- Link to a digital portfolio required.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
