Job Summary: We are currently seeking a diligent and reliable Receiving Clerk to join our manufacturing shipping team. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for overseeing the operations within the receiving department, facilitating the efficient and accurate processing of deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data into databases and systems.
  • Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Unload trucks using a forklift and/or overhead crane.
  • Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting drivers.
  • Coordinates with Inventory / Quality Control personnel to compare material to the specifications (steel plate, warehouse items, steel coils).

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Oracle knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
