Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition: Litigation Legal Assistant
Salary Range: 55k-65k, depending on experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Litigation Legal Assistant to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our litigation attorneys by handling a variety of administrative and legal tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining case files, conducting legal research, preparing documents, and ensuring deadlines are met efficiently. This is a fast-paced and demanding role that requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and organize case files, including physical and electronic documents.
  • Conduct legal research using online databases, legal libraries, and other resources.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with discovery requests and responses, including document collection and review.
  • Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
  • Maintain attorney calendars and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys.

QUALIFICATIONS:Experience:
  • 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience in a law firm environment
Education, Licenses & Certifications:
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Associates or higher in Paralegal Studies (Preferred)
