Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compressor Millwright to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a variety of compressors, including reciprocating, centrifugal, and screw compressors. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, disassemble, and repair compressors according to manufacturer specifications and blueprints.
- Perform routine maintenance on compressors, including lubrication, oil changes, and filter replacements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose compressor problems, and make necessary repairs.
- Align and level compressors, using precision tools.
- Fabricate and repair minor parts using welding and machining equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Compressor Millwright or in a related field.
- Experience with a variety of compressors, including reciprocating, centrifugal, and screw compressors. Must have reciprocating compressor experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Welding and machining experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license.
