JOB SUMMARY

American Financing is looking for a candidate that will work with customers to schedule their loan for closing.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 6 months of previous mortgage experience preferred
  • 1 year of customer service or sales background required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly adaptable to change
  • Must be able to work on multiple computer platforms simultaneously (Byte, Salesforce, Google Voice, Vonage, etc.)
  • Must be very organized and detail oriented

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist mortgage consultants with scheduling the closing with the borrowers, notary and
  • potential attorney/witness while following all state laws
  • Check Byte/Pipeline views during set times throughout the day to verify any new files ready to be contacted
  • Review scheduling document daily for updates/changes
  • Contact the borrowers using several methods (call, email, and text) to get targeted days, times and location of availability based on each state
  • Update file in real time based on outcome and follow all processes if borrowers are unable to be scheduled due to sales issues
  • Send confirmation emails to scheduling team, mortgage consultant and potential borrowers once successfully scheduled
  • Reschedule closings as needed
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
  • Schedule notaries through Signature Services or through Title companies
  • Help notaries with any questions/concerns that come up regarding closings
  • Work closely with the Closing Department to monitor documents for closings have been sent out in time for notaries/attorneys and to reschedule or push back closings as needed.
  • Local candidates preferred

Compensation: $18.50 Hourly plus Production bonus
