Airfield Inspector

Airfield Inspector provides oversight and management of on-site field construction activities associated with large scale Facilities or Commercial airport construction projects.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides oversight of construction related activities on major airport improvement projects.
- Reviews contractor schedules and work plans to identify critical milestones and priorities.
- Establishes the assignments for construction professionals and support disciplines under his or her supervision for various work areas of construction operations, monitoring the progress and recommending corrective action as required to achieve project objectives.
- Knowledge of standards and specifications related to airport construction, including FAA, ASTM, ACI, etc.
- Experience in the construction of airports or large commercial projects is preferred.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Requires extensive knowledge of airfield construction-related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices.
- Ability to both collaboratively accomplish key Project goals and solve project challenges
