This position is largely customer facing with a strong emphasis on leadership. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for maintaining store standards while leading a team of retail employees to promote store success and positive customer experiences.:


JOB SUMMARY

This Position is first and foremost a Customer Service and Leadership Position. The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring that Daily Store Operations are completed and that customers have the best possible experience while visiting the store. The Assistant Manager will be a customer facing position with a strong leadership role and retail responsibilities. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Lead daily operations and Management of the store 
  • Welcome customers in a manner that is kind, courteous, and professional 
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts and reporting
  • Maintain Store Stock Levels and Item Organization 
  • Work directly with the Operations and Admin Team, General Manager, and Wholesale Vendors to conduct certain item purchasing and reordering 
  • Manage, Inventory, Payments, and Purchasing
  • Knowledge and Compliance with safe working practices
  • Comply with all government and safety procedures. DHEC, OSHA, EPA, DOL, Local laws, etc.
  • Ensure excellent customer service 
  • Ensure cleanliness of store and inventory storage
  • Assist in hiring and training retail employees in accordance with established company policies and procedures
  • Manage maintenance of the machines and facility to ensure a safe and attractive appearance


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and electronically 
  • Strong Leadership skills and the ability to manage teammates effectively
  • 2 years relevant experience preferred  
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Must be able to work as a member of a team 
  • Customer Service Experience preferred 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time 
  • Mentor teammates through change and lead positively and effectively
  • Must have reliable transportation

SCHEULE:

SCHEDULE

Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays. Schedule and hours are subject to change seasonally.
