Job Description: The Operations Manager’s primary function will be (but, not limited to); playing a vital role to bridge the gap between Sales/Operations as well as Owner/Management to Employees by delivering sound business strategies, processes and procedures; A dedicated individual who is able to effectively problem solve while working independently with minimal supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • The Operations Manager will first learn and participate in  all the parts of the job they will manage. This includes downsizing, packing, moving, estate sale set up, in person sales, clear outs. 
  • Work with Estate Sale and Move Managers to create and publish the Team schedule ensuring the appropriate Team Member is scheduled for each job/project
  • Manage leads and calls from Maximum Call Center and Online inquires distributing them to the corresponding Manager
  • Be in tune with the Market to drive introduction of services as well as qualifying potential clients
  • Develop and be accountable for the successful achievements of measurable operational success indicators
  • Schedule and conduct in-home/on-site consultations  
  • Schedule and conduct interviews; also answer all inquiries for employment
  • Supervise on-boarding, new hire orientation and training of new employees
  • Manage input of contacts and client information into FranConnect
  • Proper planning and scheduling of needed services at job sites (Bulk trash, dumpster, donations, appraisers and liquidators)
  • Assist the General Manager in the creation of daily reports, monthly and year-end P&L statements
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails to clients upon completion of job/project (Moves and Estate Sales)
  • Create, develop and manage processes throughout the company to increase efficiency and  productivity
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in operations, sales and directing teams, experience in moving and liquidations a plus.
  • Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis in; Navigating of and posting to Job Boards to build talent bench
  • Must possess strong communication skills, (verbal and written) as well as sound ethical decision making capabilities
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Basic HR Hiring and Termination policies
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills are required
  • Basic knowledge of on-line project management and scheduling tools strongly desired, we use ConnectTeam
