Job Description Seeking a skilled HVAC Piping Installer/Brazer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation and brazing of HVAC piping systems, ensuring efficient and reliable system performance. If you have expertise in HVAC systems and a strong background in brazing, we invite you to apply and contribute to our commitment to excellence in climate control solutions. Responsibilities:
  • Install Piping Systems: Assemble and install HVAC piping systems, including refrigerant lines, water pipes, and drainage systems, according to blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Perform Brazing: Execute brazing techniques to join metal pipes and fittings, ensuring strong, leak-proof connections.
  • System Integration: Work closely with other HVAC components, such as compressors and condensers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
  • Inspect and Test: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of installed piping systems to identify leaks or issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve problems with piping systems, applying technical expertise to ensure efficient operation.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation processes, materials used, and any modifications made to the systems.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work effectively with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of projects and high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in HVAC systems or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in HVAC piping installation and brazing, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • Proficiency in brazing techniques, use of heating equipment, and installation of various types of piping systems.
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, blueprints, and technical specifications; familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to operate and maintain HVAC tools and equipment, including brazing torches, pipe cutters, and pressure testing instruments.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
