Job DescriptionJob Description

The Assistant Personal Lines Account Associates primary function is meeting the overall needs of our customers. Provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to our Risk Advisors and Company representatives to retain and develop our Personal Lines Book of Business. Meets service and sales delivery standards and performs essential functions to the quality and service standards developed by the agency. Work toward obtaining insurance license which includes continuing education classes.

Responsibilities

Data input for quotes and remarketing of existing clients

Handle Billing Inquiries

Provide support to the Account Managers and Risk Advisors with specific customer requests.

Utilize Company website portals to obtain and manage policy and account information.

Send out application/documents for signature through INDIO.

Review Applications for proper documentation (discounts, signatures, etc.)

Process Policy Changes to Carrier directly or via Carrier Website

Check Endorsements for accuracy & process.

Attach policies that dont download through EDOCs and label properly.

Review Policy Change Task and attach/re-label policy change EDOCs.

Update manually issued policy coverages in EPIC.

Issue Evidence of Insurance

Issue Auto ID Cards

Act as back-up for Claims, and Receptionist Relief.

Assists or completes other tasks as directed by agency management.

Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate procession of transactions and other responsibilities.

Maintains a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.

Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency.


Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Desired

1 or more of relevant industry experience is desired

Obtain/Maintain a Property/Casualty Agents License

Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.

Ambitious in professional development.

Ability to understand written and oral communication and interpret abstract information.

Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, and to accurately perform simple calculations involving decimals and fractions.

Ability to utilize computer programs and understand functionality.

Ability to process written and other materials visually.
