Installation Service Technician

Minuteman is seeking an Installation Technician I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment and systems. The candidate should have a strong technical background and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform installations as required
- Perform system removals as needed
- Test operation of system to confirm compliance to original scope of work, 100% functionality and customer’s satisfaction
- Engage with Operations Manager or Project Managers with service job status and small project issues
- Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, avoid damage to property, track truck stock materials to prevent loss, and clean up debris and work areas
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Overnight stay and travel while performing service duties at remote job locations and job training when required
Minimum skills and qualifications:
- Possess a valid state issued drivers license
- 1 -2 years direct industry experience
- Basic understanding of installation methods, troubleshooting methods, best practices, and procedures
- Basic understanding of field test equipment and special tools i.e. multimeter, cable tester, fiber kit, etc.
- Basic understanding of electronic security technology and system design
- Ability to use basic office software such as Connectwise, Microsoft Excel®, Microsoft Word®, and Microsoft Outlook®.
- Professional and courteous in demeanor with customers
- Ability to work independently or with a field crew
- Ability to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
- Attention to safety best practices
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
