Job Title: Glass Installer

As a Glass Installer, you will be responsible for installing flat and automotive glass to meet industry standards, reading and understanding blueprints and specifications, and following necessary precautions to ensure safe handling of glass and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install flat and/or automotive glass to meet industry standards
  • Read and understand blueprints and specifications to necessary work details
  • Follow necessary precautions to ensure safe handling of glass and materials
  • Operate company vehicle safely and responsibly
  • Efficiently and professionally explain glass installation process to customers
  • Variety of work responsibilities to include hands-on technical skills, as well as computer/administrative skills

Requirements:

  • Experience: New hires will be extensively trained. Carpentry or related experience required/prior glass experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient use of hand tools, carpentry related skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills, works well with technology, strong customer service/phone skills and a commitment to exceed customer expectations both in shop and over the phone, ability and willingness to perform 24-hour emergency and work in all weather conditions, possess a valid driver's license.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
