Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our health and wellness team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our patient care process, providing support to our healthcare professionals and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories. Assist with patient education and wellness guidance.
  • Clinical Support: Perform routine clinical procedures such as administering injections, preparing specimens for lab tests, and assisting with minor medical procedures.
  • Administrative Duties: Schedule patient appointments, manage medical records, and handle patient correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Health Promotion: Provide support for wellness programs, including patient education on lifestyle changes, preventive care, and nutrition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintain up-to-date certifications, and ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred. Relevant certification or training in health and wellness is a plus.
  • Experience: 2 Years previous experience in a medical or wellness setting and willingness to learn. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and proficiency in basic medical procedures and office software.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, proactive, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting wellness.
