POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, is responsible for identifying retention and service opportunities and deepening relationships with designated Members. Through assignments develop Membership retention and engagement opportunities as well as cultivate existing Member relationships in order to increase Membership engagement. The Member Service Representative must be a self-driven, motivated individual with excellent communication and service skills be assertive, inquisitive, creative, agile, and accountable. Must be able to balance efficiency with effectiveness. Strong interpersonal skills are a necessity. Covering: Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Serves as a liaison between the Credit Union and our Members.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with our Members both prospective and current.
  • Fosters existing relationships with Members in order to develop new Memberships and increase participation in Credit Union products and services.
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts care calls with assigned list of new and tenured Members to promote the Credit Union's products and services to existing and potential Members for the purpose of increasing Membership and awareness.
  • Serves as point of contact for Member retention efforts
  • Provides consultative services to existing and potential Members regarding Credit Union products and services by assessing the Member's needs, addressing their concerns and gaining agreement.
  • Develops and maintains a close partnership with branches.

Qualification:

Experience/ Training/ Education:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field, or the equivalent work experience, preferably two to three years in a business development role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.


Base Pay Range:

The targeted hourly range is $21.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour. Final offer will be determined based on experience, education, training/certifications and specialized skills.
