Overview:
The Sales Associate at the macaron kiosk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling macarons, and maintaining the kiosk's appearance and inventory. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for gourmet food, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing macarons.
  • Provide detailed information about the macaron flavors, ingredients, and any special promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and courteously.
2. Sales and Promotion:
  • Actively engage with customers to promote macaron sales.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Participate in kiosk promotions and events to attract customers.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall kiosk sales goals.
3. Kiosk Maintenance:
  • Ensure the kiosk is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Arrange macarons and displays to showcase products attractively.
  • Restock shelves and replenish inventory as needed.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and kiosk maintenance.
4. Cash Handling and Transactions:
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
  • Process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer and report any discrepancies to the manager.
5. Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the manager of low stock or potential shortages.
  • Assist in receiving and unpacking new shipments of macarons.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
6. Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other sales associates and the general manager.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
