Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00
Location: Chicago IL.
Hours: 4:30am to 2:30pm
Introduction Statement:Our customer is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to oversee employees and the production process in our Chicago IL. This role is crucial for ensuring our production targets are met efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:Follow the production schedule to meet production requirements.Understand and enforce the company’s employment policies and union contract provisions.Ensure all machines are safeguarded, set at the correct line speed, and processing runs without disruption.Release dry ingredients and protein as needed to the department and verify all releases have been received to start the shift.Manage inventory accuracy.Manage headcount by line.Verify labeling on work in process or finished goods.Ensure all correct PPE is worn.Conduct metal detector checks.Complete SSOP form/temperature form.Meet production target requirements.Ensure GMPs are being followed.Qualifications or Requirements:Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and carry 10-30 lbs. throughout the day.Willingness to work in a 35&degree;F environment or lower.Willingness to work early and late hours, up to 12-hour shifts, and Saturdays.Benefits:
