We are looking for a talented and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful execution of our custom home projects.
Job Description:
As a Construction Project Manager at A Custom Home Builder, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of custom home construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling for custom home builds.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure all project elements are aligned and executed as planned.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any questions or concerns related to the project.
- Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure that all work meets quality standards, building codes, and client expectations.
- Budget Management: Track project expenses, manage budgets, and ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during construction, including scheduling conflicts, supply chain delays, and other challenges.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the custom home building industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
