Interested in a child care job? Williamson County School's School Age Child Care program (SACC) is currently hiring part-time child care workers at Crockett, Jordan, and Kenrose Elementary Schools in Brentwood, TN .
- We are looking for people who enjoy working with elementary age children.
- Morning Shifts are Monday-Friday from 6:30-9:00 am, afternoon shifts are 3:00-6:00 pm, flexibility on shifts and days worked
- Flexibility with days of the week and shifts worked.
- Responsibilities include leading activities, overseeing up to 20 children, handling basic redirection and discipline.
- Extra $2 an hour pay during the school year for working morning shifts
- Pay starts at $16.05 up to $20.26 an hour, based on experience
Duties
Child Care Worker Responsibilities include
- Actively supervising up to 20 children in grades K-5
- Engaging in enrichment based activities
- Assisting with snack time
- Supervising the playground
- Leading activities and games
- Providing basic first aid as needed
- Assisting with check in/ out of children
- Having fun
Requirements
SACC Child Care workers must meet the following requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Satisfy a criminal background check
- Paid or volunteer child care experience
