The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and reliably operating computer systems and servers in a cloud computing environment. Serving on the Technology team and reporting to the Director of Information Security, this role will focus on install, upgrades, and ongoing software and hardware monitoring and maintenance, and will also assist with security and user support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor Microsoft Cloud infrastructure and systems. 
  • Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of critical systems. 
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower downtime. 
  • Support the deployment of new SaaS products through Microsoft Intune. 
  • Manages systems through Intune 
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. 
  • Conduct regular security audits and take appropriate steps to mitigate risks. 
  • Assist with the mitigating of discovered security risks within the Microsoft Environment. 
  • Implement security measures, manage Azure Security Center, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, role-based access control and governance policies

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in System Administration 
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a related field  
  • Possess a basic understanding of Cyber Security requirements 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Defender
  • Professional certifications preferred, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Comptia Security +, etc.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, growing company environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and independently as well as in a team environment to see projects through to conclusion
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and assignments with the ability to float between multiple projects

Expected annual salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 plus incentive compensation.
