POSITION SUMMARY
As an insurance sales representative at the Joe Luke Munguia Agency, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission by generating new households for the agency, while fostering and supporting our existing client database. This position has a strong emphasis on supporting our clients and providing excellent insurance advisory to ensure all clients are appropriately protected and educated regarding their insurance coverages. A successful person in this role will have a passion for helping others, a strong ability to communicate and influence others, and a natural inclination to take initiative.

OBJECTIVES
  • Prospect and generate new households for the agency to increase the book of business through cold calling, warm outreach, networking, social media outreach, and community involvement
  • Contribute to Auto and Life goals through proactive outreach and cross selling opportunities
  • Maintain and improve retention rates by building strong relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs, providing expert advice, and delivering personalized service
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' insurance policies, identify coverage gaps or opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Proactively communicate with clients regarding upcoming policy renewals, review coverage options, and assist in making adjustments to meet changing needs or circumstances
  • Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes relevant to personal lines insurance
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client files and documentation
COMPETENCIES
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, influence and build trust through calls, texts, and emails and in person meetings
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and build rapport with clients and team members
  • Ability to proactively identify sales opportunities, promoting insurance products, and effectively communicating their value to clients.
  • Proficient in negotiating terms, prices, and agreements to reach mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the customer
  • Effectively manages time and priorities to maximize productivity, balance multiple tasks and deadlines, and optimize sales activities

REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required for Arizona
  • Job contingent based on passed Life Insurance license within 90 days of employments.
  • 1+ years working in insurance industry
  • 5+ years in a professional setting, preferrable in sales

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • This position will require travel - up to 15%
