Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. We value your ability to work accurately and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:Financial Tasks: Handle various financial tasks related to the firm's day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Accounts Management: Process and manage invoices, payments, and expenses. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of all firm bank accounts, including IOTA accounts, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Incoming Funds: Record and deposit incoming funds from clients and other sources. Accurately post transactions into the accounting system.
Billing: Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client agreements.
Financial Reporting: Generate various financial reports as needed by the partners.
Data Entry and Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and legal requirements.
Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software packages proficiently to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
Payroll Processing: Manage payroll tasks efficiently, including processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Communication: Collaborate with other team members, including accountants and management, to provide financial information and support.
Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles.
Familiarity with IOTA accounting is required.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software packages (e.g., QuickBooks, PerfectLaw, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within the team.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Salary and Benefits:The salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the competitive salary, the Firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The company offers benefits for employees who pass the 3-month probationary period.
