Make a difference as a TECHNICAL DIAGNOSTIC Specialist

As a Technical Diagnostic Specialist at FNA Group, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop strong relationships with industrial and rental customers, providing expert troubleshooting and technical support via phone and virtual meetings. Your collaboration with Engineering and Quality departments will be crucial in producing service bulletins and technical tips, as well as assisting in the creation of technical how-to instructions. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing FNA's warranty portal for Authorized Service Centers and making system recommendations tailored to customer needs. Your involvement in policy deployment and updates to technical documents will be essential in ensuring top-notch service and support for our valued customers.

What we're looking for in a TECHNICAL DIAGNOSTIC Specialist

To excel as a Technical Diagnostic Specialist at FNA Group, candidates must possess a diverse set of skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an industrial field, demonstrating a strong working knowledge of pressure washer pumps, small outdoor power equipment engines, electric motors, hot water burners and coils, and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively. Proficiency in articulating problems and solutions clearly, both verbally and in writing, is essential. Experience with tool and equipment rental categories is highly beneficial, as is the ability to collaborate effectively across various functional areas.

Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability in a dynamic service environment, self-motivation, and teamwork capabilities are key qualities we seek. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products, coupled with a High School diploma or GED, rounds out the ideal skill set, with technical school or certifications being a definite advantage.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • 5+ years of experience in an Industrial field.
  • Ideal candidates will have working knowledge of the operation and repair of pressure washer pumps, small outdoor power equipment engines, electric motors, hot water burners and coils, with the ability to troubleshoot potential operational issues.
  • Must be able to articulate potential problems and proposed resolutions in a clear, easily understood manner, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with tool and equipment rental categories is extremely helpful.
  • Able to work effectively across functional areas.
  • Adept at creative thinking and problem solving, and managing flexibility in an evolving service environment.
  • Self-directed individual who works well within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and use of other Microsoft office products such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school or certifications is a plus.
