Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring technical and diagnostic quality, and collaborating with our medical team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound exams, positioning patients and equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Produce high-quality recordings and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • RDMS (ARDMS) or RVT (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region, with the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified above, with the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Previous experience in ultrasound imaging, with a strong understanding of imaging principles and techniques.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience in radiology information systems and PACS.
