Job Title: Housekeeper

Company: Sandstone Care

Location: Chantilly, VA (Medical Detox Facility)

Schedule: Monday-Tuesday & Thursday-Saturday (Wednesday and Sunday Off)

Compensation: $15-$17 Hourly

About Us: Sandstone Care is a leading provider of comprehensive addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults. Our Detox facility in Chantilly is a beautiful 24 bed detox that supports all age adults struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the care and services that Sandstone Care provide and will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff, contributing to the overall well-being and positive atmosphere of the facility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  2. Ensure all common areas, client rooms, and other designated spaces are kept in a clean and orderly condition.
  3. Handle and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
  4. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
  5. Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and address any maintenance issues or repairs.
  6. Uphold health and safety standards, following all relevant protocols and guidelines.
  7. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a housekeeper or a similar role.
  2. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  3. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  7. Candidates must be CPR Certified prior to their first day of employment

    • Dependability in consistently showing up for scheduled shifts on time is crucial. This competency ensures that cleaning tasks are performed regularly and without interruption, contributing to a stable and reliable environment for clients and staff. Punctuality also supports the collaborative efforts of the team, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and efficient operations.
