Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProduction Operator Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent felting material manufacturer in the Ingleside, IL area, is seeking production operators and machine operators to join their team This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing
Production Operator Job Summary: Pay: $19.50 an hourShift Available: 7:00pm-7:00am (rotating shifts)
Example:Mon-Tue. Wed-Thu Fri-SunWork Off WorkFollowing week:Mon-Tue Wed-Thu Fri-SunOff Work Off
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machine(s) according to product specifications and ensure only first quality material is produced for Customers.
Production Operator Qualifications:
  1. Must follow company safety policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure our products and services meet customer’s expectations.
  3. Operate production equipment within the specified limits.
  4. Monitor raw materials, product and equipment for defects or deviations.
  5. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure safe, high quality, productive operation.
  6. Support a constructive team culture.
  7. Maintain production records and monitors product quality against established control charts.
  8. Perform site-safety audits routinely as scheduled.
Skills -
  1. Mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred.
  2. Basic Computer skills required (Keyboarding, Microsoft Office)
  3. Ability to lift at least 45 pounds.
  4. Ability to push, pull, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  5. Ability to stand for 12-hour periods with two 15-minute breaks and a thirty-minute lunch break.
  6. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build a connection with the team through personal involvement and trust.
