Job Summary: The Content Creator/Editor will be responsible for producing, editing, and managing content for our digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate has a strong creative flair, excellent writing and editing skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure that all content aligns with our brand’s tone, style, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and proofread high-quality content for various digital platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Develop engaging and original content ideas that align with our brand strategy and target audience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content calendars and campaigns.
  • Optimize content for SEO and ensure it meets best practices for search engine ranking.
  • Manage content updates on websites and social media channels.
  • Research industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor content to inform content strategy.
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure all content adheres to company guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Edit and refine content provided by other team members or contributors.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed to improve engagement and reach.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest content creation tools, trends, and technologies.
  • Proven experience as a videographer and content creator, preferably in event settings.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in capturing and editing content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a content creator, writer, or editor.
  • Strong portfolio of published work showcasing excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to adapt content to various formats and audiences.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, or multimedia content creation (a plus).
