Position Information: Part-time, 16 dollar hourly rate.


Essential Functions:

  • Review Banquet Event Orders to understand daily function schedules
  • Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service
  • Complete all sidework and related cleaning duties
  • Prepare banquet rooms for assigned functions
  • Set up, deliver, and refresh coffee stations
  • Serve meals with attention to detail and guest preferences
  • Perform both opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain appropriate levels of food and beverage items
  • Set up and break down buffets and other special food service tables/equipment
  • Ensure all doors and equipment are securely locked, everything is turned off, and keys are returned at the end of shift
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic bar terminology and wine service
  • Ensure all equipment is in proper working order

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Keep work area neat and organized
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
  • Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions
  • Maintain good working relationships with all departments
  • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Possession of government-required licenses or certificates (e.g., food handler's permit, alcohol service certification)
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality food service techniques and standards
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week and any hour
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to receive and follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Capability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Physical ability to carry and balance plates, trays, etc.
