Marketing Coordinator

Moxie Pest Control is the fastest-growing pest control company in the industry. We’ve been in business for 20 years, but still, move like a start-up. We are looking to grow our team to meet the demands of a growing company doubling its sales year-over-year. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced start-up environment with little direction. Proactively finding solutions to problems is key to success in this role. No day will be the same in this role.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute on the main strategies of increasing the community presence and increasing revenue through upselling and outbound opportunities. You will help facilitate campaigns, organize and attend community events, and analyze results.
Additionally, you will help manage customer experience improvement projects. This includes project management from ideation and planning to implementation and analyzing results. Analytical and creative skills are needed and must work hand-in-hand to achieve the desired results. Other projects include marketing communications and initiatives to current customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Marketing Campaign Support:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and events.
Contribute to the creation and direction of content for customer-facing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, emails, and promotional materials, to support campaign initiatives.
Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance tracking, to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
Event Organization:
Organize and attend sponsorship events, ensuring seamless execution and representation of the company's brand and messaging.
Marketing Strategy Contribution:
Contribute insights and ideas to the development of marketing strategies and tactics aimed at achieving company goals and objectives.
Assist in maintaining marketing databases and organizing marketing materials to support campaign execution and tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.

You need excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

You need good interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work cross-functionally with departments. You also need to possess the confidence to push along projects and manage project timelines.

Ability to learn Moxie’s brand and complete design projects as needed.
Organizational Skills
You need exceptional organizational skills to help you prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow through with assigned projects.
Leadership Skills
You need leadership skills for many reasons. One key reason is to lead projects from start to finish while considering input from all stakeholders.
Expectations:
This role is hybrid, requiring three days in-office per week with flexibility for remote work.
Attendance at occasional outside events, such as conferences or sponsorship events, is expected.
Adhere to all company guidelines and standards, ensuring that all activities and communications align with Moxie Pest Control's values and objectives.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. This includes supporting colleagues, sharing ideas, and fostering a culture of respect and teamwork to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant degrees or 2-3 yrs equivalent experience
Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel)
Basic understanding of G-Suite applications (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets)
Hands-on experience managing timelines and deliverables
Design experience is preferred (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
