We specialize in commercial and residential disaster restoration projects from fire and water damage to mold remediation. We are a growing family-run company for over 30 years local to the Gallatin Valley.
Job Description:
Project managers return residential and commercial buildings to a pre-loss condition after they have been cleaned and dried following fire, water and mold damage. Project managers primary function is managing budgets, vendors, customers, and schedules to complete the contracted work on time and on budget as well as maintaining positive relationships with co-workers, customers, and insurance representatives.
Job Duties:
- Inspect job sites and complete job scoping
- Set expectations for workflow to include coordinate ordering materials, with customers, vendors and subcontractors
- Collaborate in estimating process and create/prepare project budgets
- Maintain job files daily
- Communicate with estimators, supervisors and foremen regarding projects pre and post contract.
- Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner
- Customer Service Guru: Responsible for creating/maintaining/and preserving the customer experience.
- Safety: Recognize and respond appropriately to safety issues on jobs. Comply with safety and building codes, as well as legal requirements
- Choosing subcontractors and delegating their responsibilities
Competencies/Knowledgebase:
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Customer Service
- Ability to forecast and satisfy resource demands
- Experience using Microsoft suite and CRM software or similar databases
- Possess the ability to multi-task and the flexibility to meet rapidly changing demands
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Experience in customer service and working with insurance adjusters
- Time management
- Technical skills to interpret construction methods, contracts, and drawings of the project
- Customer Service
- Willingness to make decisions that best benefit the company and advise leadership team and owners openly and honestly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years project management experience with residential and commercial structures
- Must meet the company’s insurability requirements for driving
