Skillforce Inc. is hiring for welders in Richmond, VA to assist with a shut down.. Pay is $24 - $28 per hour based on skillset and experience.

Welder Responsibilities:

  • Determine required equipment and welding methods
  • Replace and changeout valves
  • Follow proper preparation steps to prepare surfaces for welding and fabrication
  • Proper tool operation
  • Weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
  • Monitor entire welding process to avoid bad welds and prevent overheating of parts, warping, shrinking, distortion, and expansion of material
  • Operate proper PPE(personal protective equipment) at all times
  • Follow safe work guidelines at all times

Welder Qualifications:

  • 2+ years field welding experience
  • Must be able to proficiently operate tools of the trade
  • Reliable transportation
  • Shut down experience preferred

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Sunday

Salary:

  • $24 - $28 per hour Pay based on experience
  • Weekly pay
