We’re looking for a US-based Logistics Coordinator to ensure Yoto products are moved and stored efficiently around the globe, and to ensure our record-keeping systems are in tip-top shape.

Yoto’s Logistics Team

Our mission is to ensure Yoto products are moved as efficiently as possible from our manufacturing facilities, through our fulfillment centers, to our customers’ doorsteps.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Liaising/booking with freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure timely customs clearance, import, and delivery of product to warehouses – resolving any hiccups along the way.

  • Act as the lead point of contact for North American warehouses for all communication including, but not limited to:
    • Arrival of goods and efficient booking of stock.

    • New product setup, bundle and build configurations setup, retail delivery requirements.

    • Shipment planning for large retail deliveries.

    • Stock build requirement planning for bundles or retail order preparation.

    • Stock and system accuracy.

    • Returns processing and EOL actions.

    • Amazon FBA order preparation and shipping arrangements

  • Acting as illness/absence cover for all logistics requirements across our 3PLs globally

  • Stock monitoring and reconciliation between our systems and those of our 3PLs

  • Efficient and timely processing of all freight and customs paperwork to ensure accurate records for audit purposes.

  • Ensuring timely processing of returns through receipt, testing and refurbishment or disposal.

  • Supporting process planning and development, for both system-based and physical changes.

  • Periodic reporting on inventory velocities, shipping times/costs, environmental footprint, and partner performance, etc.

  • Processing of commercial invoices.

  • Fulfilling any ad hoc operational/logistics requirements.

 

Does this sound like you?

  • You have at least three years’ worth of experience in a logistics or freight management role (or similar.) LTL, EXW, and POD are acronyms you don’t have to look up

  • You have a deep understanding of the Netsuite ERP platform, and can execute v-lookups, create pivot tables, and wrangle data comfortably in Excel.

  • Your peers admire your excellent attention to detail.

  • You consistently communicate updates and progress with colleagues, foster collaboration, and maintain a positive attitude to ensure smooth teamwork to achieve company goals together.

  • You bring a service-driven attitude to your work and care about providing professional, quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have a proven history of developing and implementing new processes, and/or managing continuous improvement initiatives. In your past projects, you’ve analyzed datasets, synthesized your findings, and prioritized changes that will yield the highest impact.

  • You’re comfortable working remotely but collaboratively with teams all over the globe, and can be flexible on working hours when there’s a business need.

  • You’re solution-oriented. Roadblocks don’t slow you down – you view them as learning opportunities and fun puzzles to solve.

  • You know firsthand that sometimes you just need to be where the action is, and would be able to travel to warehouses as required.

 

Salary: Up to $70,000 based on experience.

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working with a choice based approach - we would love you to come into the Brooklyn office twice a week, if not more. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
